身体部分“动一动”

表示身体部位的一些名词，如头（head），眼（eye），鼻（nose），口（mouth），舌（tongue），耳（ear），肩（shoulder），背（back），手（hand），手指（finger），拳头（fist），腿（leg），脚（foot），脚后跟（heel），尾巴（tail）等用作动词时，具有很形象的表达能力。快来看一下吧！

一、头（head）

He headed （用头顶） the football across the goal-line.

他用头将球顶进了球门。

John was chosen to head （率领） us to do the work.

约翰被选定率领我们做这项工作。

His address headed （在……开头） the letter.

他的地址写在信的开头。

二、眼（eye）

The child was eyeing （盯着看） the birthday cake.

那孩子眼睛盯着生日蛋糕看。

People eyed （看） me curiously.

人们好奇地看着我。

A policeman at the street corner eyed （打量） him suspiciously.

街角的警察怀疑地打量着他。

三、鼻（nose）

The dog nosed （用鼻推） the door open.

狗用鼻子推开了门。

A dog was nosing （嗅） at the dustbin.

狗在垃圾桶旁嗅来嗅去。

The girl was nosing about （搜索） the house for her toy cat.

那个女孩在房间里寻找她的玩具猫。

My study has nosed out （揭开） some interesting facts.

四、口（mouth）

She sat on the ground and mouthed （说） something that we couldnt hear clearly.

她坐在地上说这些什么，我们谁也听不清楚。

He was hungry and mouthed （吃） all the food on the table.

他饿极了，吃光了桌子上所有的食物。

The dog mouthed （用口衔） a piece of meat form the butchers and ran away quickly.

狗从肉店衔了一块肉就迅速跑开了。

五、舌（tongue）

Mother tongued （用舌舔） the milk to see if it was hot.

母亲用舌头舔了下牛奶，看看是否是热的。

The thief tongued （用舌舔） a hole through the window paper.

小偷在窗纸上舔通了一个洞。

六、耳（ear）

His mother often ears （咬耳朵说） something about somebody among her neighbours.

他的妈妈经常在邻居中咬耳朵说人家的闲话。

七、肩（shoulder）

Something was wrong with his bike. He shouldered （用肩扛） it there for repair.

自行车出了毛病。他用肩扛着去那里修理。

He shouldered （用肩推） others aside and came to the front.

他用肩将别人推到一边来到前面。

They shouldered （肩负） an important mission and went there.

他们肩负着重要使命去了那儿。

八、背（back）

The car backed （向后退） through the gate.

汽车倒退着进了大门。

They were unwilling to back （支持） the plan.

他们不愿支持那项计划。

Dont worry. Ill back （为……撑腰） you on the matter.

九、手（hand）

The conductor handed （扶） the old lady off the train.

乘务员扶着老太太下了火车。
