‘Touring ASEAN with Diplomats' with Thai Ambassador

On Feb 2， 2016， the ACC conducted a “Touring ASEAN with Diplomats” Microblog interview via ACC Microblog， with H.E. Mr. theerakun Niyom， Ambassador of thailand to China. During the two-hour interview， Ambassador Theerakun Niyom exchanged views online with ACC Microblog fans. He enthusiastically answered questions covering a wide range of issues including thailand-China relations， bilateral trade and investment，e-commerce， SMEs and high-speed rail cooperation， educational and cultural exchange， tourism resources in Thailand， as well as the role of thailand in the process of ASEAN development.

Ambassador Theerakun Niyom appreciated the ACC's hard work in promoting ASEAN-China relations and for organizing this Microblog interview， which enhanced mutual understanding between the people of Thailand and China. He wished Chinese friends a happy Lunar New Year. The interview was concluded with success， attracting about 50，000 viewings.

“Touring ASEAN with Diplomats” Microblog interview series was initiated by the ACC in 2012. It has so far organized interviews with five ASEAN Ambassadors to China as guests of honor including Indonesia， thailand and the Philippines. the interviews have been warmly welcomed and well received by ACC Microblog fans.
