The Crow and the Water Bottle

There was once a crow. Like all crows, he had smooth black feathers and a sharp, black beak. He was not a beautiful bird. Still, he was very smart.

从前有一只乌鸦。像所有的乌鸦一样，他有着光滑的黑色羽毛和一张锋利的黑色鸟喙。他不是一只漂亮的鸟，但是他很聪明。

One day, when he was flying, he became very thirsty. He was far away from any water. In a clearing he saw a glass bottle.

一天，他在飞的时候感到很渴。他距离水源太远了。他看到一块空地上有个玻璃瓶。

He flew down to have a look and saw some water in the bottle. He tried to drink it but he couldn‛t reach the water at the bottom.

他飞下来看到瓶中有一些水。他试着去喝水，可是他的鸟喙够不着瓶底的水。

He thought and thought.Maybe he could gather small rocks to fill the bottle,but then the water would be dirty. He thought and thought some more. Then he saw a huge rock nearby. He had an idea.

他想了想，也许他能收集小石头填满瓶子，但那样水就会变脏了。他又想了想。这时他看到附近有一块大石头，于是心里有主意了。

“Bang,bang,bang! ”The strong crow broke the neck of the bottle with that huge rock. So,he easily drank the water at the bottom! What a clever crow!

“砰，砰，砰！”强壮的乌鸦用大石头敲破了瓶子的瓶颈。这下，他轻轻松松地喝到了瓶底的水！多聪明的乌鸦啊！
