You were Down Syndrome（唐氏综合征）superhero？

After graduating from high school， John Cronin wanted nothing more than to go into business with his dad， Mark. The father⁃son duo （搭档）brainstormed and decided to go forward with the one thing John loves most： socks.

I designed those. I would tell Crazy Socks.Why sock？ Because its fun， its colorful. I love to be creative and I want to do wonderful things. Here I made me be me. Since launching（开始从事） Johns Crazy Socks， father and son have been went crazy busy. While John， the face of the companys videos and promotions， puts orders together， Mark takes care of the technical aspects of the business such as accounting， managing， inventory（库存） and staffing. Weve been created 35 jobs. 18 of those are held by people with different abilities. Weve raised over 135 thousand dollars for our charity partners.

John and Mark try to make each sock purchase personal. They make in⁃person deliveries to homes in the Long Island area but for those who live farther， John does something special. He places a personal note inside each box：“Whats our mission？ Our mission is spreading happiness.”

Our customers are happy. We have over 10，000 online reviews. 96% of those are five?star reviews and weve done a lot of work， a lot of business. Weve shipped over 115，000 orders and earned over 4 million dollars in revenue.（收益）

Johns Crazy Socks doesnt only spread happiness through their socks， the company also spreads happiness to those in need： 5% of Johns profits go to the Special Olympics （特奥会） and the company also donates to the National Down Syndrome Society （全国唐氏综合征协会） and the association for children with Down Syndrome. That makes these founders feel crazy happy， which motivates them to help others feel the same.
