一、教学目标

1.知识目标：要求学生掌握使用过去进行时来询问或描述过去进行的事情，并学会用when描述某动作或某事件的发生。

三、教学过程

Step1：热身（Warming up）

Greetings and introduction.

Step2：复习导入（Lead-in）

1.展示一些幻灯片复习现在进行时然后通过观察时钟询问过去某时间正在进行的动作引出过去进行时。

T：What is he doing now？Ss：He is playing football.

T：What was he doing yesterday afternoon？T：He was playing football.

2.歸纳现在进行时与过去进行时的含义与用法直接进入新课引入课题。

3.给出本课主题图片并谈论图片的情景。

T：Look at the picture.There was a rainstorm yesterday morning.Where was the girl whenthe rainstorm came？

Step3：新授及操练（Presentation and Practice）

1.图片展示，迅速完成1a。

2.听力1b，播放听力，学生听并进行圈，然后通过提问进行检测。

3.展示记者采访的幻灯片，练习when 引导的时间状语从句及过去进行时谈论过去正在进行的活动，教授新句型。

B.I was studying in the library.

4.Ask and answer freely.谈论暴风雨来临时在哪里及正在干什么。

Where were you when the rainstorm came？

5.展示图片引出新句型然后进行1c的Pair work。

A：What was your sister doing at the time of the rainstorm？B：She was reading at home.

A：What was the girl doing at the time of the rainstorm？B：She was...

6.A memory game.

7.呈现图片让学生预测图片的顺序，播放2a的录音让学生检测预测是否正确。

8.2b听力。

9.2c Pair work让学生一个扮演记者，一个扮演听力材料中的男孩进行对话重述故事。

10.Group work.

把全班分成六人一组，每组通过记忆把打乱的句子根据2a的故事进行排序。
