Broke Tourist Slaps Cop To Get Himself Deported驱逐出境

瑞典一游客花光旅费，扇警察耳光求遣返

A tourist who ran out of money while on holiday in Malta has been accused[控告] of slapping a police officer in an effort to get a free flight home.

Police said the 24-year-old man walked into a police station in the town of Marsa， demanded[要求] to be deported and attacked[攻击] two officers after he was told it wouldnt be possible.

The broke traveller hoped by getting arrested[逮捕] he would be deported from the archipelago[群岛] in the Mediterranean Sea[地中海]， Malta[马尔他].

The incident occurred after Gambian[冈比亚的]-born James John Konteh， who holds a Swedish passport， blew[花光] all of his 1，500 spending money， the newspaper reported.

He has been charged with assaulting[袭击] a police officer， disobeying[违反] police orders， causing slight injuries to police officers， disturbing the peace[扰乱治安] and causing criminal damage[刑事损害] to a police car.

The company， OpenBiome， is willing to pay as much as $250 for a weeks worth of donations[捐赠] of healthy stool[粪便] samples， or $13，000 a year， according to The Washington Post.

However， donors[捐赠人] need to make it through rounds of questioning and stool testing to make the cut. Over the last four years， only 4 percent of interested donors have make the grade， co-founder Mark Smith told WaPo.

The sample is used to treat patients who are sick with infections[传染病] of a bacteria[细菌] called C. difficile[艰难梭状芽胞杆菌]. It is taken in frozen form via endoscopy[内窥镜检查] or swallowed capsules[胶囊].

OpenBiome has already shipped about 2，000 treatments[治疗] to nearly 200 hospitals in the U.S.， according to The Post. “Youre usually helping three or four patients out with each sample， and we keep track of[记录] that and let you know，” Smith said.
