教師寄语:Painting is silent poetry, and poetry is a speaking picture.

(一)学习内容warming up and pre-reading(P.9?-P.10)

(二)学习目标 在本节课结束时,学生能够:

1、了解人们写诗的原因并初步了解五种格式比较简单的英文诗,同时学会欣赏诗歌,感受到诗的语言美,节奏美和韵律美。

2、运用本课所学诗歌知识尝试写简单的诗或诗句。

一、课前预习

Warming up

Can you recite the Chinese traditional poems according to their English translation? 让学生利用一切可能的工具去查找尽可能多的英文诗歌翻译成中文,目的是让学生了解和欣赏英文诗歌和中文诗歌表达方式的不同,同时对英文诗歌的种类有一个初步的认识。E.g:

(一)Where a yellow river climbs to the white clouds,

Near the one city, wall among ten, thousand ,foot mountains,

A Tartar under the willows is lamenting on his flute

That spring never blows to him through the Jade Pass

(二)Who is lovelier than she?

Yet she lives alone in an empty valley.

She tells me she came from a good family

Which is humbled now into the dust?

(三)Long and heavy, the drasses on the plair

Once in a year they wither and then they flourish.

The prairie fires do not burn them away

And when the spring wind blows they grow again.

(四)Deep, deep the courtyard where he is, so deep.

Its veiled by smoke like willows heap on heap.

By curtain on curtain and screen on scene.

2、Can you remember any poems you have read? Can you recite(背诵)the following poems in Chinese?

Choose  请用选择的方式选出诗人写下列诗歌的原因。

(1)月落乌啼霜满天,江枫渔火对愁眠。姑苏城外寒山寺,夜半钟声到客船。

(2)李白乘舟将欲行,忽闻岸上踏歌声。桃花潭水深千尺,不及汪伦送我情。

(3)少小离家老大回,乡音无改鬓毛衰。儿童相见不相识,笑问客从何处来。

(4)红豆生南国,春来发几枝。愿君多采撷,此物最相思。

(二)探究2 How many kinds of poems are mentioned in the text?  What are they?

快速浏览P10-11课文,找出常见的英文诗歌的种类。

请根据诗歌句尾押韵的原则选词填空。
