（1）as后可以接职业、用途、特点等。

（2）as用在句首时，这种短语的后面往往有逗号与语句的主体隔开。

作為一名作家，他曾经很有名。

多么有趣啊！

How引导的感叹句的结构是：How + 形容词或副词 + 主语 + 谓语 + 感叹号。在口语中，常常省略感叹句的主语和谓语。

How clever the girl is！

那个女孩多聪明啊！

How fast he runs！

他跑得多么快啊！

谁去看望了她奶奶？

—Becky did.

贝姬（去看望了她奶奶）。

在英语中，可以用do的适当形式（do，does，did，dont，doesnt，didnt）代替上文出现的动作。

该句是一个省略句， did代替了上句中的行为动作，目的是避免重复上文中的行为动词。完整回答是：Becky visited her grandma.  贝姬看望了她奶奶。

shout  v.  呼叫;喊叫

shout at/to sb  朝某人叫

比较：shout at sb和shout to sb

shout at sb多指因为生气等而非善意地对某人吼叫;shout to sb多指因距离远而不得不大声叫喊（否则对方无法听见），不带生气等感情因素。

He was so angry that he shouted at everyone there.

他很生气，冲着在那儿的每个人大声叫嚷。

He shouted to me to come over to help.

他大声叫我过去帮忙。

GRAMMAR FOCUS

一般过去时（II）

一般过去时常和表示过去的时间状语连用，如yesterday，yesterday morning（afternoon，evening），last weekend（year，week，month），in 1992，two weeks ago。

They often went to work by bike last year.

他们去年常常骑自行车去上班。

一般过去时的句型

（1）含 be动词过去时的句型：

① 肯定句：主语 + was/were + 其他.

② 否定句：主语 + was not/were not（wasnt/werent）+ 其他.

③ 一般疑问句：Was/Were + 主语 + 其他？（其肯定回答用 “Yes， 主语 + was/were.”;否定回答用“No， 主语 + wasnt/werent.”）

④ 特殊疑问句：疑问词 + was/were + 主语 + 其他？

（2）含实义动词过去时的句型：

① 肯定句：主语 + 动词过去式 + 其他.

② 否定句：主语 + did not （didnt） + 动词原形 + 其他.

③ 一般疑问句：Did + 主语 + 动词原形 + 其他？（其肯定回答用 “Yes， 主语 + did.”;否定回答用“No， 主语 + didnt.”）

④ 特殊疑问句：疑问词 + did + 主语 + 动词原形 + 其他？

与一般过去时连用的常见时间状语有：yesterday，last night，two days ago，the day before yesterday等。

so是副词，常常用来修饰形容词或副词。

He was so angry that he couldnt say a word.

他气得说不出话来。

比较：see sb do sth和see sb doing sth

see sb do sth表示“看到某人做了某事”，指动作已发生;see sb doing sth表示“看到某人正在做某事”，指动作在进行当中。
