Winter holiday is coming. What are you going to do this winter？ Watching movies is a lot of fun. Here are some interesting movies you can watch during winter holiday. Lets have a look.

企鹅国王再次迈出快乐的脚步

Whats the story about？

Mumble is an emperor penguin（帝企鹅）. He lives in Emperor Land. He is King there and has a happy family. But Mumble has a problem（问题）. His son， Erik， doesnt want to dance. Mumble is very angry because penguins should be good dancers there.

He always shouts at Erik. Because of this， Erik runs away from home. Then， he makes friends with Mighty Sven. Sven is a very special（特别的） penguin because he can fly. Later， Mumble finds Erik and asks him to go home， but Erik says no. Sven sends（送） Erik back with Mumble.

But when they come back， there is an iceberg（冰山） at Emperor Land. Other penguins are in danger（危險的）. Mumble tries to move the iceberg， but its too big. He doesnt give up（放弃）. At last， he finds a way to save（拯救） the other penguins. He also makes Erik feel like dancing. How does he do it？ You can find the answer in the movie Happy Feet 2（《快乐的大脚2》）.

Meet the animals

Mumble

I like tap-dancing（踢踏舞） very much. Im one of the best dancers in Emperor Land. That makes me very proud. But Erik doesnt dance. Why doesnt he have any of my dancing genes（基因）？

Erik

Dancing is boring. I want to do something special. I admire（崇拜） my good friend， Sven. I hope to fly in the air like him. That must be very exciting.

Mighty Sven

I have no home or parents. But now， Emperor Land is my home. So I  try to help the penguins by giving them food from the air.

Penguin facts

① Do penguins only live in Antarctica（南极）？ No. There are some species（种类） in Australia， South Africa（南非） and South America（南美洲）.

② Penguins like swimming in the river. They can get their favorite foods， fish and krill（磷虾）， there.

③ Penguins dont get hungry easily. Parents feed（喂） babies every three to four days.

④ Emperor penguins are the largest of the penguin species.

狗狗神奇复活记

Young Victor has a pet dog， Sparky. He loves it very much. But Sparky dies（死） in an accident（车祸）. Victor is very sad.

One day in lab class（实验课）， his teacher uses an electric shock（电击） on a dead（死的） frog. The frog has a sudden（突然的） twitch（抽搐）. This gives Victor an idea of bringing his Sparky back to life（使……复活）. In the evening， he uses a similar approach（类似的方法） on Sparkys body. Sparky comes back to life！

Victor hides（隐藏） Sparky so others dont know his secret（秘密）. But Sparky gets out and frightens（使惊恐） the neighbors（邻居）. They see Sparky as a monster（怪物） and want to burn（烧） it.

Will they burn Sparky at last？ You can find the answer in the movie Frankenweenie（《科学怪狗》）.

About the movie

Workers use about 200 puppets（木偶） in this movie. There are 18 different puppets of Victor. And Sparkys puppet includes（包含） 300 parts.

波魯鲁的冰雪大冒险

Pororo is a little penguin. He and his good friends live in a forest village（村庄） far in an ice world.

Pororo is naughty and full of curiosity（好奇心）. He loves riding his snowboard（滑雪板）， but his legs are too short to take him anywhere as fast as he wants.

Pororo will be in the Super Sledding competition（比赛）. His dream is to be the champion（冠军）. But a bad guy wants to shatter（破灭） Pororos dream. He makes a lot of trouble. Pororos good friends decide to help him. Will they help Pororo out of trouble？ Will Pororo win in the end？ You can find the answer in the movie Pororos Racing Adventure（《波鲁鲁冰雪大冒险》）.

蓝精灵们归来

In a faraway（遥远的） land， the Smurfs live happily in their village. But a bad wizard（巫师）， Gargamel， always makes trouble（麻烦） with the Smurfs.

This time， he creates（创造） a few “Smurfs”. He calls them Naughties. He wants to turn the Naughties into real（真正的） Smurfs. But he needs to get the secret spell（咒语） to do it. Only Smurfette knows the secret spell. So Gargamel kidnaps（绑架） Smurfette and takes her to Paris. The Naughties teach her to become one of them.

The Smurfs decide to go to Paris to rescue（营救） Smurfette. They go back to New York City to ask for help from their human（人类） friend Patrick Winslow and his wife Grace.

Meet the Smurfs：

Smurfette： She is pretty and clever.

Clumsy： He looks clumsy（笨拙的）. But he is a good helper sometimes.

Vanity： He has a flower in his hat， and he often holds a hand mirror. He likes to stare（盯着） at himself in the mirror.

Grouchy： He usually looks unhappy. His catchphrase（口头禅） is “I hate...”.

Papa： He is the Smurfs leader（首领）. He is gentle and wise.
