1 Vlogger break world record again

The official Sina Weibo account of the Guinness World Records announced on February 2nd，that Chinese vlogger 【短视频博主】Li Ziqi broke the world record for "“most subscribers 【订阅驴】for a Chinese language channel on YouTube” set by herself with 14.1 million subscribers. In 2017， Li released her first video on YouTube explaining how to dye a dress using the skins of grapes. She went viral overseas afterwards with her short videos about cooking Chinese food， making traditional Chinese handicrafts such as embroidery 【刺绣】and living anidyllic【田园诗般的】rural life in China.On July 16 last year， she had 11.4 million subscribers on YouTube， breaking the Guinness record at the time. Experts say she successfully teaches people to appreciate Chinese culture worldwide.

2Glassroom mobile phone use banned

All primary and secondary ' school students in China， in principle， will not be allowed to bring smart phones to schoo， the Ministry of Education（MOE） announced on February 1st. The notice aims to protect students' eyesight， make sure they focuson【集中于;聚焦;关注】study and prevent them from becoming addictive【使人上痛的】to the Internet and online games. If students must have a mobile phone at school， a special request should be submitted to school authorities along with written consent from their guardians 【监护人，said the MOE. Once the request has been approved， students should hand in their mobile phones to relevant school authorities upon arrival. The phones will be kept together and should by no means be allowed into classrooms. Schools should set up public phones and teacher hotlines for communication between parents and students， it added. Schools should set out rules for the management of cellphones and designate people to take custody 【保管，监护】of mobile phones brought to schools，it said.

为保护学生视力，让学生在学校专心学习，防止沉迷网络和游戏，教育部2月1日印发通知，要求中小学生原则上不得将智能手机带入校园。确有需求的，须经家长同意并提出书面申请，经学校同意后，学生进校后应将手机交由学校统一保管，禁止带入课堂。学校应通过设立校内公共电话、班主任沟通热线等途径，解决学生与家长的通话需求。通知要求，学校应制定手机管理的具体办法，明确统一保管的责任人。

Singing or chanting will be discouraged at the re-arranged【重新安排计划】Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics in a bid to safeguard against the spread of coronavirus. 4 Vaccine aid to other countries

China is providing vaccine【疫苗】aid to 53 developing countries including Pakistan， Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson said on Feb 8. China has exported or is in the process of exporting vaccines to 22 countries， thespokesperson told a routine press briefing. China has taken concrete steps to honor its pledge to make vaccines global public goods， once available，with greater affordability【可負担性】and accessibility【可及性】 in developing countries. China has joined CovAx and decided to offer 10 million vaccines to COVAX， mainly to help meet the needs of developing countries. China will continue its vaccine cooperation with relevant countries， offer support within its capability and make concrete contributions to securing a victory against the pandemic as soon as possible and to building a global community ofhealth for all.

5Chinese official language ofUNWTo

中文成为世界旅游组织官方语言

The United Nations World Tourism Organization （UNWTO） and the Spanish government have oficially announced that starting from Jan 25， 2021， Chinese has formally become an officiallanguage ofUNWT0. Chinese joins English， Spanish， French， Arabic and Russian， bringing the number of official languages for the body to six. The UNWTO is the world's most infuentialintergovernmental【政府间的】 international tourism organization. It currently has 159 member states andis headquartered in Madrid，Spain，with Spain as its depositary 【受托人，受托公司】depositary government. Chinajoined the UNWTO in 1983.

近日，联合国世界旅游组织（UNWTO）和西班牙政府正式通报，自2021年1月25日起，中文正式成为UNWTO官方语言。自此，UNWTO的官方语言除英语、西班牙语、法语、阿拉伯语、俄语这五种语言之外又增加了中文。UNWTO是全球最具影响力的政府间国际旅游组织，现有159个成员国，总部设在西班牙马德里，西班牙为其存约国。中国于1983年加入该组织。
