A study on the teaching practice of the working page of practical English in higher vocational colleges

Summary:Under the background of globalization,practical English teaching is becoming more and more important.Students can be fluent in a foreign language,for the future of Career Planning and development is important.English courses are valued in secondary vocational schools,higher vocational colleges and universities.For Secondary Vocational school students,can use English for daily communication and understand foreign language,can smoothly with the international track,form their own work advantages,for their own future laid a solid foundation.

In the classroom is only the teachers blindly narrates,the schoolmate is only passively accepts.Classroom atmosphere and its not active,leading to classroom learning efficiency is not high.This kind of Students passive study needs the student energy to concentrate completely,this is not quite reasonable.Therefore,we should learn from foreign teaching experience,teachers take a back seat,mainly rely on students to explore the initiative,change passive to active.Although the short-term effect is not significant,but in the long run is a lifetime benefit.For example,divide the class into small groups,post the lecture ahead of time,and set aside roughly half the time for free discussion.Then let the group choose a representative to explain the corresponding content,the final teacher to summarize.Such a class will be more profound and exercise the studentscomprehensive ability to use English.

Due to the limitation of the teachers ability,some knowledge and cognition are not comprehensive enough,which leads to the incomplete understanding of the curriculum.Most of the content of practical English course comes from the West,and the limitation of teachersown educational ability and the influence of traditional teaching mode and concept lead to the failure to truly understand the essence of the course,can Not let the student achieve the knowledge and the ability overall promotion.

Most Vocational College Students Have Poor Grades,poor foundation and weak ability to accept English.Most students are afraid to speak,unwilling to learn,the more difficult the course,the more he can not keep up,and finally give up.The reason is that the students do not have a good understanding of English and their minds are not mature enough.Most of the students in higher vocational colleges have no career plan,so they have no clear understanding of the English course and give up the study of English.This is extremely detrimental to the work of teachers.Therefore,teachers should tell them clearly the purpose of English language learning,through a series of incentives to guide students to fall in love with English,really take the initiative to learn.At the same time mobilize the classroom atmosphere,so that students group cooperation will be easier to accept.

Research on practical English teaching content design in higher vocational colleges based on “micro-organization” teaching model.First,the selection of teaching content.It includes the choice of teaching material,the choice of situational dialogue theme,the grasp of the difficulty of teaching content,the amount of teaching in each lesson,the division of knowledge points,and the division of “points” of knowledge can not be further divided.Secondly,the design of teaching work page.Including the design of working pages of the implementation of teaching steps,students can be skilled in the use of the teaching goal,first let the list of basic teaching content,and then arrange the corresponding exercises and assessment;practice questions to present the way,more to participate in group activities,let students give full play to their subjective initiative,let students feel their own value,so as to stimulate the interest of students,how to reflect the teacher “teaching” and students “learning” action.Adopt raise your hand to add the mode of mark,let the classmates accustom to “learn” under a kind of reward.Research on the design of practical English teaching in higher vocational colleges based on the “micro-organization” teaching model.First,the selection and design of teaching methods.Through constant practice and exploration in the classroom,the author sums up the new teaching methods which are suitable for the students of higher vocational colleges and different from the traditional teaching methods and can be really practical,so as to achieve “one point,one lecture,one practice and one confirmation”,such as situational method,introduction method,substitution practice method,explanation method,example method,rigorous teaching method,slow teaching method,case method,students test each other,Chinese-english contrast test,mobile phone inquiry,students lecture method,students pick out mistakes method,repeated practice method,dialogue method,test method,recitation method and a series of methods.In particular,the students fault-finding method and the students mutual assessment method can improve the enthusiasm of students.Through this series of methods to achieve the ultimate goal of flexible use of English vocational students.Second,the teaching goal,the teaching standard formulation.Under the general teaching goal,each link of the teaching work page,even each teaching knowledge spot goal formulation,as well as the teaching standard formulation.That is to say,students in each knowledge point,what standards to achieve,to achieve the goal,is the real learning,and will be applied.When students have a poor foundation,vocabulary is not enough,to give students enough time to learn,the ability to express fluently is the key to recognize the medium-difficulty articles.
