Steve won the first prize in the recent city video game. When a reporter asked the reason, he told a story.

A boy loved video games. He wanted to win so much that he always thought of all kinds of tricks. He became so good at cheating that he could win any game. Everyone around him saw him as champion and nobody wanted to play with him. But Tom always played with him. The boy enjoyed himself at Toms failure.

One day the boy got bored with all playing around. He decided to join in the city game as he thought he could find some strong competitors there.

When competition started, everyone played best. He also tried to play best, but just then he realized that he got used to tricks. He felt quite embarrassed. Without tricks he couldnt beat anyone. He soon failed and sat there sadly. To his surprise, the winner was Tom. At that time, he realized his mistake.

From then on, the boy gives up wanting to win all the time. He is quite happy to lose sometimes, because he would learn how to win from the failure. He knows learning is more important than winning.
