Amazing baking class

The baking class was carried out in Beijing Chaoyang International School Affiliated to Beijing Foreign Studies University. Students completed the cake design in groups with the theme of summer hot sun in the baking class， to express their thanks to the help of school canteen staff and their sincere gratitude to their families since the beginning of the semester.

That afternoon， the students were delighted to get the cream prepared by the teacher in advance， pastry tubes for making roseshaped cream， and the cake that had been dealt with  with the help of the canteen staff.

Under the guidance of teachers， the students have completed various kinds of works and sent their blessings to their friends， teachers and class teachers. During the activity， teachers asked students to design cakes with a certain theme in groups， and at last， there would be the best style cake， the best creative cake and the best cooperative group through voting. In this way， students love for baking would be stimulated， and also they were able to feel the warmth in winter. The whole activity has gained a great number of positive responses from students. After the club activity， students rushed to give their cakes to the most important person in their eyes. Some students even quietly asked the baking teacher to help them to record a video of expressing gratitude to their class teachers， and let the baking teacher deliver the video to their head teacher who was very delighted and grateful after watching that. At the same time， the children also reviewed the vocabulary related to baking in this class， like cake flour， pastry tube and cream， which are all interesting and fun things.
