Abstract:By interpreting the connotation and process of inquiry, the essential characteristics of inquiry science education, and the relationship between practice and inquiry, this paper deeply analyzes the evolution of inquiry-based teaching in nearly half a century, as well as various teaching models developed. It shows that in the process of evolution, the essence of inquiry-based teaching has not changed, and it is not affected by any educational field. Multi-level Inquiry Teaching, 5E Learning Loop, 6E Learning by Design Model, Models-Based Inquiry, Argument-Driven Inquiry, Project-Based Learning and other teaching models have their own emphasis and advantages, but they all follow the student-centered principle, pay attention to the learning process, and are suitable for any depth and breadth of learning process. In both formal and informal education environments, teachers’ understanding of the essence of inquiry and practice is more conducive to improving the quality and level of education.

Abstract:Taking the static display exhibits in science and technology museums as the research object, this paper uses mobile media technology (iBeacon) to develop an information tutoring platform based on Wechat applets. According to the 5ELearningCycle, the content of inquiry learning tutoring resources is designed to enable the audience to obtain exhibits’ tutoring resources, understand the operation methods, exploration practice, principle interpretation, life application and relevant exhibits recommendation by Wechat auxiliary functionShake. This paper also analyzes and discusses about the ideas and specific methods of design and development, in order to help museum staff develop and design science education activities based on static exhibits.

Abstract:This paper discusses the necessity and urgency of applying STEM education concept into museum curriculum design and implementation from two aspects: the commonality of stem education and museum education, and the current situation of museum education activities. Taking China Maritime Museum’s STEM series coursesFutureNavigatorsas an example, this paper analyzes the design and development path of STEM series courses of museums. It takes the sub courseToolsforCrossingtheRiveras an example, discusses how to organically integrate the three core concepts ofinterdisciplinary,explorationandpracticeinto the museum STEM course design, and reflects on the difficulties of course implementation, in order to provide references for integrating STEM education into the curriculum design of museums in China.

Abstract:The development of smart museums is closely related to the development of cloud computing, internet of things, mobile communications, big data and artificial intelligence technology. Every rapid development of information technology has pushed museums to advance together, which seems to have become a trend. In the tide of new technology day to day, how to take the law of its own development -Taoas the main body, insist to collect, research, communicate and display the spirit of the elegantTempleofGod; how to consciously participate in the reform of the new generation of information technology; and how to dependently choose the application degree and application scope of technology. They have become the inevitable topics. In the context of smart museums, the relationship of principles, approaches, methods and tools isguidingmethodsbyprinciplesandrealizingprinciplesbypropermethods. Only by appropriately using more friendly and mature technology, the museum can more rationally and deeply reveal the basic philosophy of the relationship between people and objects, and reflect its value in promoting social progress.

Through innovation-driven and regional collaboration, the co-construction and sharing of science popularization resources have entered the fast lane. At present, in the context of the newly issuedActionPlanfortheScientificLiteracyoftheWholePeople(2020-2035) and the accelerated development of regional integration in the Yangtze River Delta, as a new landmark of Shanghai’s urban culture, how can theevolvingsmart science and technology museum, guided by science and culture and linked by the science popularization alliance, organically combine the functional orientation ofThreeMuseumsinOnewith the collaborative innovation ofNationalSciencePopularizationin the Yangtze River Delta. How can they extract the essence of Shanghai-style culture to reshape Jiangnan culture, and jointly solve the current practical problems of unbalanced development between urban and rural regions, insufficient scientific and rational social atmosphere, and insufficient effective supply of science popularization resources in China. From the perspective of culture, this paper attempts to focus on and think about the cultural tension betweenmodernityandnationalityin the process of urbanization in China under the background of globalization, the impact of science and culture on the reconstruction of New Jiangnan culture, and the actions of contemporary science popularization workers.

Abstract:The work of setting and revising standards of science and technology museums is necessary for the high-quality development of science and technology museums during the14thFive-YearPlanperiod. It is also an important measure to implement the national standardization strategy. Starting with the current situation of standardization research of science and technology museums, this paper systematically combs the research papers, projects and current standards of standardization of science and technology museums, analyzes the problems existing in the standardization research of science and technology museums, and deeply analyzes the root causes of the problems. Finally, based on the problems and requirements, this paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for the standardization work of science and technology museums.

This paper summarizes and combs the practices and experiences of the exhibition in theme refinement, design ideas, form design and exhibits collection, etc, and it puts forward some thoughts and solutions for the curatorial mechanism, topic selection, exhibition content and form, as well as the extended communication mode of the emergency science popularization exhibition. At last, this paper is expected to provide a reference for the further improvement in emergency science popularization in the science and technology museum industry.

Abstract:As an early science and technology museum in China, the research on the Transport Museum in the Republic of China has the dual significance of museum history and modern science and technology history. The Transport Museum was established in 1912, affiliated to the Ministry of Transport. It was officially opened to the public in 1914 and was transferred to the Peking Railway Management College of Jiaotong University in 1928. Its establishment and rise and fall reflect the characteristics and fate of early Chinese museums and early industrial development.
