谨遵三原则,评分人性化

2009年的江西高考英语评卷,在整个过程中,充满了人性化。每一位评卷老师谨遵“奖励给分”、“鼓励给分”和“细辨给分”三个原则,尽量让每一位考生都得到其该得到的分数。今年25分的书面表达(2009年江西省高考英语书面表达试题附后)平均分比去年高出3—5分。

一、奖励给分原则

今年的书面表达题采用总体评分(Global Scoring)方法,即评卷人员均就总的印象给出奖励分(Award Scores),而不是按语言点的错误数目扣分。这样大大鼓励了考生大胆使用较好的句型和词汇,而不像往年的考生为了避免出错,保险起见,只选用简单、有把握的表达。请看这篇高考书面表达:

No sooner the exam papers had been given out than I was very upset. The grade was always low. I coundnt imagine what my parents and schoolmates might think. But I really knew that they must be very disappoint.

When I know the exam result, my heart was broken. My life was failing. And I coundnt eat anything but cry.

However, what I could do was to make me more pow?鄄er. I began to finishing all my homework, telling myself that I was the top one and no one could beat me. At the same time, I would talk with my teachers. At last, they al?鄄ways could make me happy again.

此篇书面表达中有较多的语言错误,如coundnt(应为:couldnt)两次拼写错误;一次时态错误:When I know (应为:knew)the exam result, my heart was broken;两次词性用错:must be very disappoint(应为:disappointed),make me more power(应为:powerful);另外,还有began to后接了 finishing(应为:finish)等处错误。但这篇文章同样有一些值得奖励的地方:文章开头就运用了No sooner... than... 的句型,接着又用到couldntdo... but do句型以及what引导的主语从句等。所以这篇书面表达如果在2008年评卷可能只能给13至15分,但今年给到了18分。

二、鼓励给分原则

鼓励考生努力用所学的英语表达自己的想法和观点,表达错误不倒扣分,表达了多少就相应地给考生多少分,考生甚至可以“夹汉夹英”。 如果评卷老师遇到考生在英语句子中偶尔用了几个汉语拼音甚至汉字时,可忽略掉这几个汉字或拼音,不计其分,但绝不倒扣分,也就是照样给句子其他部分评分。其目的就是要鼓励考生尽量用英语表达自己,不要因为一两个词不会用,而导致整句都不敢写,不敢表达。

同时,为了鼓励考生表达,对于拼凑词汇的,不扣分,如能成句,则可得分;即使是在18分以上的四档作文中,也可出现一些错误,甚至严重错误。另外,因为书面表达的题目中,已给了作文的题目,所以考生如没写题目或标题,均不扣分。

请看下面两篇英语书面表达:

1.At home, ours grandmother and grandfather often do something wrong. And so make theirs children. Our father and our mother do something wrong like them.

We are young children, like 16—18 years old. We often do something dont listen ours parents like. So we not do as many are not 讲理. So we are very 生气 with it.

When we said this thing to them, them are very生气 with us, too. Because they think we are layz. We do not listen them. We can do not anything. We only讲理with them. May they can not 接受 ours opinion. But we think they can understand everything one day!

此篇书面表达,有很多错误(画线部分均有错误),内容表达不清,时态混乱,书写差,甚至出现了多处用中文表达,可以说,几乎没有什么符合原题的正确的句子。但却可以看出:考生在努力用英语表达自己的故事和想法。因此,评卷时,还是给了一定的分数4分。

2.Today, I go home after school. I am walking in the road. Suddenly, I am hurt by a bike. Let me very not happy. The man apologize to me. But I am not happy. The man buy some friut to me. I am happy for this result. At last, the thing in the end.

I am walking and thinking: why are you as the thing not happy? At last, I decide that use a kind heart to every?鄄thing. I must learn friendly and love other thing. I am very happy get home.

此篇书面表达,不但其结构和词汇错误太多,而且显得作者的思想较为肤浅(人家给他买来水果就由不高兴转为高兴了),但作者做到了努力用英语还算完整地描述了整个经历。因此,评卷给到了10分。

三、细辨给分原则

此次评卷过程中,相关负责人反复叮嘱评卷老师,对于考生答卷字迹不清晰也应“人性化”对待——耐下心来,揉揉眼睛,仔细加以辨认。

由于有的考生用铅笔答题,笔迹很轻,经电脑扫描以后更难看清。对这样的试卷,如果一评老师看不清,二评老师再看,再三评老师看。如果还是看不清,评卷老师则将它作为问题卷,交给仲裁组,必要的话重新进行扫描,重新评分,从而确保每一份试卷清晰,每一份试卷都得到该得的分数,努力使考生得分误差降到最低。

学校将举行以“Turning a bad mood(心情) into a good one”为题目的英语作文比赛,请按要求写一篇100词左右的记叙文或议论文。

记叙文:

1.发生的具体事件。

2.对你的心情有何影响。

3.你如何应对。

议论文:

1.好心情的重要性。

2.产生坏心情的原因。

3.应该如何调整心情。
