知识目标

1援能够了解复活节的时间、意义以及起源,并能简述孩子与大人在复活节所做的事情。

2.能够理解文本,并且在实际场景中进行运用。

技能目标

1.通过学习复活节,能够将相关知识运用到实际生活当中。

2援能够尝试制作复活节彩蛋。

情感目标

复活节象征着生机盎然的春天和顽强的生命力,教育学生热爱生活,热爱生命。

教学重难点

1.重点:对于复活节及人们所做事情的理解。

2.难点:孩子与大人所做的事情。

教具准备

电脑、课件、词卡、彩蛋及复活节帽子三顶,一顶用来展示,两顶用来评价。还需准备Easter Bunny和Easter Chick的头饰及Flowers,用于复活节的评价。

评价

Flowers,bunnies 和 chicks作为评价,与复活节帽子饰品相结合,在课堂中既作为评价工具激励学生,又作为帽子的装饰,组成两顶复活节帽子。

教学流程

Step 1.Before reading

1.Free talk.

T:Hello,everybody.I’m glad to see you here.Are you happy today?

Ss:Yes.

T:By the way,what season are we in now?

Ss:Spring.

T:Do you like spring?Why orwhy not?(Individuals answer.)

T:Whatcanwedoin spring?(Individuals answer.)

T:I want to put on my hat and go out for a walk.

(教师戴上DIY的帽子,帽子上有毛绒小鸡、小兔和花儿。)

T:What’son my hat?(Individuals answer.)

(教师出示此卡,教授chick和bunny。)

T:I have some more beautiful hats.Let’s enjoy.

2.Enjoy different and beautiful hats.

(Give each group a hat.If they do well,they can put flowers on the hats.)

T:There are flowers,toy chicks on the hats.Do you know why?(Individuals answer.)

Lead out Easter.(Ss read Easter together.)

T:Easteristhe day to commemorate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Step 2.While reading

1.Read and choose.

T:When is Easter?Now let’s read the passage quickly and circle the answer.

(Individual Ss answer)

T:Yes,it’s in spring.It’s on the first Sunday after the full moon of the spring equinox.It’s between March 22nd and April 25th.So it’s in March or April.

How dopeoplecelebrate Easter?Do you know?(Individuals try to answer.)

Let’s enjoy a video,then you can tell me something they do on Easter.

2.Enjoy a video about Easter.

After watching the video,Ss try to say:They sing the song,dance,play games,and play basket-ball etc.

T:Whatdothe children do?What do the adults do?(板书Children Adults)

3.Read and underline.

Ss do group work and underline the activities they do.T walks around the classroom and offer help.

Check:

(1)Ss from Team 1 share the activities children do.Team 2 listen carefully.

Put 3 cards of children’s activities on Bb.

(Make Eastereggs,give eggs to each other,play eggrolling and egg-hunting)

One student from Team 2 retells the children’s activities.

(2)Ss from Team 2 share the activities adults do.Team 1 listen carefully.

Put3cards ofadults’activities on Bb.

(Give children chocolate eggs,have delicious food,go to the Easter Parade.)

One student from Team 1 retells the adults’activities.

T:Both children and adults can do the same activities together.

Ask Ss one by one.If they can do together,move in the middle;if can’t,stay.

4.Read and match.

Individual Ss answer,then show the answer.

5.Retell.

Ss try to retell the activities according to the pictures.

6.Listen and repeat.

Step 3.After reading

1.Read and judge True or False.

2.Group work.

Four Ss work in a group.One of them comes to the front and share with others.

3.The Origin of Easter.

Enjoyavideoaboutthe origin of Easter.

4.Easter chant.
