How to Use Computers

Computers are becoming more and more useful in our daily life. Its very important for us to learn how to use a computer. Now， Ill give you some advices① about using computers.

First， the Internet is playing an important part in our life. On the Internet， we can learn news both at home and abroad. We can also send messages by e■mail， read all kinds of books and learn foreign languages by ourselves. Except② we can enjoy music， watch sports matches and play games. We can also do shopping， book train or plane tickets and so on. In a word， the Internet has made our life more conventient.

Second， try not to waste much time on computer games. Its bad for our eyes and we should spend more time on③ studying.

Computers are very useful， if you use it④ in a right way.

1. 优点：

本文采用了“总——分——总”的顺序。小作者首先在首段概述了学会使用电脑的重要性；接下来，用两个自然段从正反两面告诉我们如何健康合理地使用电脑；最后，小作者用一句话总结全文。整篇文章条理清晰，语言流畅。

2. 需要修改的地方：

①advices改为advice。advice是不可数名词。

②Except改为Besides。except意为“只有……除外（除去……）”，besides意为“除……以外（还有……）”。

③on改為in或去掉。spend... （in） doing sth.意为“花费（时间或金钱）做某事”。

④it改为them。代指上文中的computers应使用them。

按江苏省连云港市中考英语作文满分20分的评分标准，本文修改前可得17分。
