一、教学分析

《English around the word》这一课选自人民教育出版社普通高中课程标准试验教科书《英语》1。本节课是词汇新授课,其中大部分单词和短语经常出现在高考题中,同时是新课标要求掌握的,所以掌握本节课内容很重要。

二、学情分析

英语教学中,大部分学生对于词汇学习感到枯燥,课堂上不活跃,所以要设置各种有趣的活动,激发和调动学生积极性,使他们在快乐的课堂气氛中,通过自主探究学习及小组合作完成任务,达成教学目标。

三、教学目标

1.知识目标:能听、说、读、写because of、come up、command、request、take part这些单词短语,并能正确运用这些单词短语。

2.技能目标:提高学生运用所学单词短语的能力。

3.情感目标:培养学生学习词汇的兴趣。

四、教学策略

自主探究学习、情景式教学、合作学习。

五、教学重难点

1.重点:学生能运用单词和词组because of、come up、command、request、take part。

2.难点:掌握本节课单词和词组一词多义的用法并能够灵活运用。

六、教学过程

Step 1:Lead-in.

Listen to the music“because of you”and“because I love you”,showing the music word on the screen.Questions:“Do you like music?”“Both of the name want to show the meaning of‘因为,and why does one use because of, and the other use because?”

Step 2:Presentation.

1. Students read the words following the tape.

2. Show some example sentences.(一词多义) For example:

Your question came up at the meeting.Tom came up with good idea.

(多种搭配的单词,例如command、request,根据不同搭配的意义列出句子。学生自己观察,总结,再将这些用法总结,拓展到order、require等表示命令建议要求的单词用法中)

1. The policeman commanded the thief to stop.

2. The teacher commanded that he should go out of the classroom.

3. The boss commanded that Tom finish the work on time.

4. The commanded is that we should set out at once.

5. It is the command that the desk be moved away.

Step 3:Consolidation.

Let students do exercises after learning. Choose one student to write answers on the blackboard.Let students to explain,if the answer are different.The teacher can explain more clearly.

Step 4:Homework.

Write a short passage using the words and expressions in this class.

七、教學评价设计

评价内容:

1.教学中,学生学习兴趣,是否浓厚。

2.在自主学习和小组活动时,学习态度是否端正。

3.所学知识和技能掌握情况。

评价方法:

1.学生自我评价:肯定自己的努力,看到自己的不足。

2.学生互相评价:以小组为单位,组员之间对学习态度及效果进行评价。

3.教师评价学生:学生的自评和互评要和教师的评价结合起来,教师在评价中发挥主导作用。

九、课后反思

This teaching focuses on word teaching.The main method is situational teaching,leading students to learn the words and phrases.Students can summarize these words points after observing and thinking these words with different meaning.Of cause,there are still some points we will advanced. Firstly,the form of word practicing is more simple.We should prepare more interesting ways.Secondly,the summary is a little hesitation.If the importance is on the blackboard ,there is no need to present it on the screen.So ,we should pass it quickly.In a word,the teaching is a course.We will improve it day by day.
