Humans and Gods: Mysterious Ancient Shu Civilization

本次展览以古蜀王国两个最重要的遗址——三星堆遗址、金沙遗址出土的典型文物为载体,包括青铜头像、青铜面具、金箔饰物、各类玉器、陶器等,逐步揭开古蜀文明的神秘面纱。从古蜀先民的物质生活,到沟通天地的“巫”与祭祀,再到神秘多样的“神”,勾勒出中国西南地区独具特色的古蜀历史文化发展面貌,展现古蜀文明瑰麗奇幻、神秘浪漫的宗教礼仪及文化艺术成就。

此次展览共展出文物139件/组,其中一级文物65件/组。展览由序厅、三个内容单元以及尾厅构成,通过三星堆、金沙遗址文物及其背后的故事,带领人们一步步揭开古蜀谜团,让古蜀文明给观众留下的印象不只是“神秘”,还有对历史的敬畏之心,让观众感受到包含古蜀文明在内的中华文明的宽容与博大精深。

The exhibition will feature a total of 139 pieces (sets) of relics from the legendary Sanxingdui Ruins and the Jinsha Ruins of the ancient Shu Kingdom, including bronze heads, bronze masks, gold foil ornaments, jade ware, pottery, etc. From the material life of ancient Shu people, to the sorcerer’s communication between heaven and earth and ritual sacrifices, and then to the mysterious and diverse “gods”, this exhibition outlines the unique historical and cultural development of ancient Shu in southwest China, and shows the magnificent, fantastic, mysterious and romantic religious rituals and cultural and artistic achievements of the ancient Shu civilization.
