不知道什么时候开始，世界上分裂出了两类人：喜欢香菜的人和视香菜为魔鬼的人。

对于喜欢香菜的人来说，香菜可以配菜、可以下面、可以涮火锅，还可以榨汁生吃，无论哪种吃法，都十分让人上瘾……而不喜欢的人看到它只会嫌弃地避之不及，甚至还成立了反香菜联盟！

那老外爱吃香菜吗？香菜又该用英文怎么说呢？

01. 香菜（美式） cilantro

Theres green pepper， cilantro， and cucumbers. 这里面有青椒、香菜和黄瓜。

I dont want any cilantro， thank you. 不要香菜，谢谢。

02. 香菜（英式） coriander

Many people dont like to have coriander in their meals. 很多人都不喜欢在菜里放香菜。

I would prefer my meal coriander-free. 我不想我的菜里放香菜。

No coriander， thank you. 不要香菜，谢谢。

03. 大蒜 garlic

a clove of garlic 一瓣蒜

I cant stand garlic. 我受不了大蒜。

04. 葱 green onion

Some people are into the green onion. They think it adds to the flavor. 很多人喜欢吃葱。他们觉得葱能调味。

05. 辣椒chili

I am not a chili-pepper eater. 我不能吃辣。

You can taste the chili in the dish but it is a little sweet. 你可以尝出菜里面有辣椒，不过味道有点甜。

06. 辛辣的spicy

How spicy do you like your food？ 您的菜要多辣呢？

Thai food is hot and spicy. 泰國菜味道辛辣浓烈。

07. 微辣 mild / 中辣 medium /  重辣 hot

08. 少放点 go light on

Go light on the garlic， thank you. 少放点大蒜，谢谢。

Could you please go light on the chili？ 能不能少放点辣椒？

09. 在……加…… add... in...

Dont add any cilantro in my meal， please. 我的菜里不要香菜。
