Best wishes arrive with a year anew！

Consular officials sent their heartfelt wishes for the 2022 Spring Festival to the people of Chongqing. Congratulations were received to the considerable progress made by Chongqing in 2021. Looking ahead， the consular community is looking forward to the new achievements scored by the Municipality in building the Center for International Exchanges in Central and Western China and the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin-Hub Mega Region， an endeavor expecting joint efforts， shared opportunities and fresh outcomes. The consular officers expressed their wishes that COVID-19 will come to an end very soon so that the exchanges between Chongqing and the world could usher in a new stage. The consular officials also delivered their best wishes to the people of Chongqing for great health and happiness.

In my first year as the Australian Consul-General based in Chengdu， I’ve been inspired by my every visit to Chongqing –  the glamour of Chongqing’s distinct geographic features， the passion of Chongqing people， and the many productive partnerships between Australia and Chongqing. Dear Friends，

On behalf of the Consulate General of Nepal in Chengdu， I would like to extend my best wishes to the people of Chongqing for the coming Year of Tiger. May happiness， peace and good health befriend you throughout this year and always.

Chongqing has witnessed large scale development within a short period， and I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the people and leadership of Chongqing for their achievements in 2021.

The year 2021 also marked the opening of the Consulate General of Nepal in Chengdu， which has added a milestone in the relationship between Nepal and China; and has opened avenues for practical engagements between Nepal and Chongqing. Looking forward to further strengthening and deepening the cooperation in the upcoming year.
